- How many files can I merge at once?
- As many as you need — there's no artificial limit. The only real limit is your browser's memory on very large files.
- Do you upload my files to a server?
- No. The merge happens locally, using the pdf-lib library, directly in the JavaScript running in your browser.
- Can I merge PDFs from my phone?
- Yes, the tool works just as well on mobile — upload files from your file app or straight from your gallery if you have scans saved as PDF.
- Does merging reduce document quality?
- No. Pages are copied exactly as they are in the original files, with no recompression or reconversion.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- Only if the password has already been entered or the file has no active encryption — the tool can't bypass real password protection.
